About The Leading Method: The historic stained glass leading process is a well-respected craft that involves assembling colorful glass pieces within lead cames, creating intricate patterns and designs. Skilled artisans meticulously cut, shape, and solder the lead strips to form a sturdy framework that holds the glass in place. This ancient technique, cherished for centuries, continues to produce breathtaking works of art that adorn windows in churches, cathedrals, and architectural wonders worldwide.

About Cyanotypes: Cyanotypes, a photographic printing process dating back to the 19th century, utilize a solution of iron compounds to produce cyan-blue prints, originally developed by Sir John Herschel in 1842. By placing light-sensitive paper beneath the glass and exposing it to UV light, the intricate patterns and textures of the stained glass are transferred onto the paper, resulting in captivating cyanotype images with a distinct aesthetic character.

About Floral Pressing: Floral pressing techniques in stained glass offer artisans a unique avenue to incorporate natural elements into their creations. By delicately embedding pressed botanical specimens between glass layers, craftsmen achieve exquisite designs that infuse organic beauty into traditional stained glass.
